Lady Spikes Fastpitch is a Nebraska nonprofit organization dedicated to developing young women through competitive fastpitch, leadership, and service.
Our purpose reaches beyond the softball field. We provide athletes with a competitive environment where they can strengthen their skills, challenge themselves, learn to lead, and develop the character and confidence that will serve them throughout their lives.
We believe competitive athletics can be a powerful vehicle for personal growth. Through intentional coaching, accountability, teamwork, and meaningful opportunities to lead and serve, we strive to develop young women prepared to make an impact on their teams, in their schools, and throughout their communities.
Developing Athletes. Building Leaders. Leaving a Mark.
Lady Spikes Fastpitch began with an idea that developed over the course of nearly a year: to build a competitive softball organization where developing the person is just as important as developing the player.
As that vision took shape, so did a larger purpose. Competitive softball can provide incredible opportunities for young athletes, but the financial commitment required to participate can also put those opportunities beyond the reach of many families. Lady Spikes was established as a nonprofit organization with the long-term goal of helping make competitive fastpitch more accessible to athletes who might otherwise be unable to participate because of cost.
That mission goes hand in hand with the kind of program we are building. Lady Spikes provides an environment that expects effort, encourages growth, values accountability, and challenges athletes to develop as players, teammates, and leaders. Coaches, families, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners all play a role in making that possible.
We are building Lady Spikes for both the athletes who wear our uniform today and those who will come after them. As the organization grows, we will continue working to expand opportunities, reduce financial barriers, and create a sustainable program where young women can pursue competitive softball while developing the character, confidence, leadership, and sense of service that will carry with them long after their playing days are over.
The game is where we compete. The impact is what we leave behind.
Lady Spikes Fastpitch exists to provide young women with opportunities to compete, grow, and lead through competitive fastpitch.
Our mission is to develop athletes of character, confidence, and leadership while working to reduce financial barriers to participation and creating an environment where every athlete is challenged to reach her full potential—on the field, in the classroom, and in life.
Our vision is to build a sustainable competitive fastpitch organization where opportunity is not determined solely by a family's ability to afford the cost of participation.
We envision Lady Spikes Fastpitch as a program that expands access to competitive softball, develops confident athletes and capable leaders, and creates a lasting positive impact on our athletes, families, and communities for generations to come.
Lady Spikes Fastpitch is guided by a volunteer Board of Directors and supported by coaches, volunteers, and organizational leaders committed to the mission and long-term success of the program.
As a nonprofit organization, we believe responsible leadership requires transparency, accountability, thoughtful stewardship of resources, and decisions centered on the best interests of the athletes and families we serve.
Our leadership works together to provide organizational oversight, support our teams and coaches, build community partnerships, and establish a strong foundation for the continued growth and sustainability of Lady Spikes Fastpitch.

Lady Spikes Fastpitch is committed to creating an environment where every athlete is valued as both a player and a person.
We strive to provide competitive opportunities that challenge athletes to grow, coaches who lead with integrity and purpose, and an organizational culture built on accountability, teamwork, respect, and service. We are equally committed to responsible stewardship of the support entrusted to our organization and to working toward greater access to competitive fastpitch for families who may otherwise be limited by its cost.
As Lady Spikes grows, we will continue to put athletes and families at the center of our decisions while building a program capable of serving our community for years to come.
